Storm «Emma» washed up on the beach of Yorkshire millions of fish, shellfish, crabs and sea stars
No sooner had the Kingdom to move away from the shock after «the Beast from the East» (as the British media called the abnormal frosts which have covered about a week ago, a significant part of Europe) on the British Isles was attacked by equally violent storm «Emma».
After Emma walked around the coastline of East Yorkshire, the locals found beached millions of marine life. There were crabs and lobsters, and different kinds of fish and octopus and different size clams in the shells, even the carcasses of seals.
All these creatures quickly died. Fishermen managed to rescue only a small portion of lobster. They were pulled from the beach and threw it into the water.
Sea creatures washed up on the beach near the village of Freystrop, the people who still can not move away from the shocking spectacle of what they saw after the storm.
Earlier, during the «Beast from the East», on the same beach thrown thousands of starfish, and it would seem that worse for the local fauna can’t.
According to Fisher Jack Sanderson, it was like a huge scene of military carnage, only instead of dead soldiers lay everywhere fish, lobsters, crabs, sponges, scallops, oysters, and others. It seemed that every form of marine life within a radius of several kilometers was just moved from the ocean to the beach.
«All of this happened after there were strong easterly winds of 9 points, combined with a 6.2-foot high tide and the fact that the frosts hit and it was a lot of snow. That day also the water temperature has fallen 2 degrees. And after this, waves began to wash ashore all these creatures. And it still continues with every wave.»
The only thing in hopes that Sanderson is that the storm will not undermine the local ecology and that the number of dead sea creatures will be restored. Otherwise the consequences for the whole fishing industry will be devastating.

The fishing vessels skipper Jason Harrison says that, on the shore threw hundreds of thousands of lobster and just the millions of mussels. So many that it is impossible to count the exact number.
«The number of velvet crabs, it was also incredible. And I would say that there killed 80 to 90 percent of the entire local population of lobsters. For thirty years, I have seen such mass death of marine animals three times».
