Stone details of the strange «designer» pre-Inca Wari civilization
In the Peruvian province of Ayacucho are the ruins of an ancient civilization pre-Inca Wari (Huari), existed in 500 BC — ad 1000 Vari stone ruins Themselves is not very impressive, but there is something here very curious.
Among the buildings you can see lying on the ground here and there unusual shape blocks of stone, made like the technique of stamping. Moreover, for buildings walls, they just were not applied, they are not in any of the surviving walls. Why were they needed?
Some stone blocks drilled some tool hole and the holes is equal for all blocks. The Wari civilization did not know the wheel and did not even have a written language. In addition to blocks with hole, there are blocks with the letter «U» and units like «U», but elongated.
They all look very similar to parts of children’s designer, you can assemble them into something interesting. Would only know what was supposed to collect this pre-Incan «LEGO».
According to one version they were intended for aqueduct, but this is only a hypothesis that has no evidence. The surviving aqueducts of these blocks either.
